Gerry C. Coggin, II has practiced exclusively in the area of family law in Charlotte for ten (10) years. He serves clients in all areas of domestic law, including private agreements (prenuptial, separation, post-nuptial and property settlement), divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, child support, and alimony.

After graduating from Wake Forest School of Law in 2003, Mr. Coggin joined the law firm of Hatcher Law Group, formerly Gilpin, Hatcher & Spransy, P.C.. There he gained a deep knowledge of the family law process and court systems in Mecklenburg and neighboring counties. He also gained a passion for client representation, whether negotiating private agreements between parties or in litigation.

In 2007 Mr. Coggin founded Coggin Law, PLLC, to provide clients with a personal and collaborative approach to the attorney/client partnership. After six (6) years of successful client engagements, Mr. Coggin remains the solo practitioner in his thriving firm, possessing an intimate knowledge of each client's unique case.
